Commitment
Ilifa Capital Partners aims to provide a website that is calm, readable and usable by as many people as reasonably possible. Accessibility is treated as part of the site’s editorial and technical quality, not as an afterthought.
Accessibility Standards
The website targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard. This is a target and quality benchmark, not a statement that every page has been independently certified as conformant.
Current Accessibility Measures
Current measures include:
- semantic HTML landmarks and page structure;
- one primary heading per page and ordered section headings;
- descriptive links and button text;
- visible focus styles;
- keyboard-operable navigation and forms;
- accessible form labels, validation messages and status messages;
- responsive layouts for smaller screens and zoomed views;
- reduced-motion support;
- brand colour use with contrast considered; and
- print styles for legal and editorial pages.
Keyboard and Assistive Technology Support
Core navigation, links, buttons, accordions and form controls are intended to be operable by keyboard. Focus should remain visible and predictable.
The website is built with semantic HTML to support screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Responsive Design and Zoom
The website is designed to reflow across mobile, tablet and desktop viewports. Text should remain readable at common zoom levels without horizontal scrolling in ordinary use.
Users who encounter clipping, overlap or unreadable content are encouraged to report the issue so that it can be assessed.
Motion, Colour and Contrast
Motion is intentionally restrained. Where animation or transition effects are used, the website supports reduced-motion preferences.
Colour is not intended to be the only means of conveying important information. Brand gold is used carefully, primarily as an accent, because small gold text may not provide sufficient contrast on all surfaces.
Feedback Process
Accessibility feedback may be sent to advisory@ilifacp.com.
When reporting an issue, it is helpful to include the page URL, the device and browser used, the assistive technology used if applicable, and a short description of the difficulty.
